Hello and welcome to R10 First Aid Training Ltd. Yes, the company name is a play on words with my first name. My name is Rio Dinu and I live, work and play in Prince George, BC.
I have had 30-year career as an industrial first aid attendant with experience in many different workplace and community settings as I often volunteer my time and first aid skills for sporting, musical and other events. I really enjoy helping people and setting others up for success in their journey of first aid work.
I am a certified Canadian Red Cross Instructor and started this one-person company back in 2014. I instructed part time while working full time but after retiring from my 20-year pulp mill job back 2022 I’ve had much more time to work on developing relations and a client base anywhere from south to 100 Mile House north to Mackenzie. West to Bella Coola and east to McBride. My goal was and still is to provide an all-mobile Red Cross training service. To get to the communities that would otherwise have to travel to bigger centers like Prince George to get the First Aid certifications required for their work or community needs. Being an all-mobile Canadian Red Cross Training Partner allows me to travel anywhere in Canada and I love to travel.
I have had the opportunity to travel to 5 of our 7 continents. Antarctica being my favourite to date. Enjoyed 5 weeks in Australia and New Zealand last fall and my new goal is to visit Asia and Africa in the next couple years. I enjoy the outdoors more than anything and have the best perfect furry friend as my travel companion. I enjoy training for long distant ultra-trail marathons. I paddle board every chance I get and especially love spending time with family.
